If you love them, at first fight for them. Try and try again, but if they don't love you, let them go.

-W.I.I.F.M. - what do I offer to you?
FREE FEEDBACK! I'm undercutting scriptdoctors and other 'readers' out there, who will charge through the nose to read stuff for you!
The "two cents" I offer, they're just some of the readings that might be constructed.
I stress again the need for "guided feedback": what do you want people to look at, for around? maybe guided feedback will make the feedback more useful

FREE COLLABORATIVE WORK; thats right, I'm a benchwarmer! I bounce ideas, I'm someone to talk to and mindmap stuff with.

-About me:
Im a fan. Fan of a diverse range of things, just like everyone else.
Mostly im into Sci-Fi, Fairytales, Horror (Gothic, Grotesque or plain Macabre ultraviolence) and Shakespearean, (as well as the GTS/BE/FMG arena)

History (general, of science), Theology, Cultural Studies/identity politics (mainly minority groups), Astrophysics/Astropolitics, gender studies and robotics are some real-world topics of interest.

-What are my credentials?
I've dabbled in writing: certainly studied and spent enough money on it over the years... =)
I have a degree in writing, certificates in writing, attended a buttload of writers workshops, guest lectures, seminars, retreats, escapes, gigs sometimes with celebrity drawcards, more-often-than-not with low level interns from dominant publishing houses.

-Alright, so what have I actually 'done'?
I've published a few pieces of vanity press realworld, newspapers and 'academic' journals.
The real fun's been in comics and posters and coasters, the odd caricature and T-shirt (isn't it fun to see your designs worn by men and women out in the real world?)
My main strengths however are as a collaborator - mind mapping and concept generation, providing guided feedback and so on. Ive collaborated online, and in a few real world projects.
Interests
Dang it, I keep making that mistake. =)

So, they opted for one and only, instead of a ship entirely manned by Kahn Clones,
(note, he's never addressed fully as the Ricardo Montalban alpha we know. This Cumberbatch kahn might be one of many...)

Though you can see the overhangs of that concept made it to the final film (the bad guy ship being automated and all...)
and the ending is entirely open enough to allow that to happen again.

The film really speaks to fans on so many levels,
the pacing was warp-speed,
the tensions in the film made the audience feel like they were the warp core,
particularly with so many reversals of fortune and comedy, (The opening sequence is greatly appreciated!)

and the confusion of labels (like friend and foe) was really appreciated!
Thanks for another AWESOME film, which I'll go see another 10 times like all the other films = )

Now for the griping;

Whats up with the "look" for Klingons? They dont look quite like either incarnation yet seen... decidely wimpy looking and more dog-like (rather than wolf-like and fierce).

The cuts between setting in act 2... confusing is an understatement. It all adds to the sense of "whats happening" but a few patrons got up and left cause they couldnt keep up/"had someplace better to be".

And the most pressing annoyance: When will fans get a TV show out of this spinoff? = ) (It'd be better than Lost)
Come on, its been 4 years between episodes... 2 episodes in 4 years... If there's another film, thats 3 episodes in 4-7years.
The production value is terrific, quality trumps quantity and all, and I can already hear others jumping in to defend that.
I'd actually rather see some mini-series or a full-fledged show as a happy compromise.

Over to you:
What did you think of Star Trek 2: Wrath of Kahn and Star Trek, Into Darkness?
Any standouts from this film you liked? Gripes at all?
How do you think Star Trek will fair against the other films, as it has been a plentiful movie crop this past 18months? I fear it will lag into say 5th place overall, which could jeopardise future projects... we'll see though once box office takings come back what the actuality is.

If you get a little down, or have a friend who's suffering a rough breakup/rough patch, thankfully there's this.
This, is a non-politically correct salve for those who have been wronged since 09, a real fun light hearted rant that I'd take with a bucket of salt... its good game theory for sure.

Its right up there with "the cult of the one true clown", a good read.

Psst, you. Yeah, the reader of this comment,
*whispers*
can you help me? I'm looking for some droid minis parts/scrap fodder...
I don't have much, but I could trade some heroclix figures for some SWM/Heroclix/Mage Knight droid parts you might have...

PM me if you can help, and you'll be mentioned when I make droid customs out of the minis.
